The pump head
The PMMA pump head is suitable for medium- and high-viscosity substances: its passages and valves allow the viscous product to fill the dosing chamber.
Polymers and high-viscosity products, from 8,000 up to 50,000 cPs, require pumps with a dedicated PMMA pump head and performance suited to the viscosity of the liquid. For low-viscosity liquids, up to 8,000 cPs, pumps for low-viscosity liquids are used. For details of the models, visit the series pages: AMS and T and TMS.
The PMMA pump head is suitable for medium- and high-viscosity substances: its passages and valves allow the viscous product to fill the dosing chamber.
As the viscosity of the product increases, a lower number of strokes per minute is recommended, giving the liquid time to fill the pump head.
The nominal flow rate is measured with water at room temperature: with viscous products it must be checked with the product being dosed.
For details of the models in each series, visit its page using the link at the bottom of the card.

Pump close to the tank, with a short suction tube, without loops, and of a diameter suited to the product.
With viscous products, priming can be assisted with a 20 cc syringe applied to the purge valve.
For less viscous products, pumps for low-viscosity liquids are used.
