Multifunction or relief
Relief valve
Pressure, opening and closing, non-return and safety valve, for all dosing pumps. Friction-free components and hermetic closure with flat diaphragms; sealing, even at high temperatures, is ensured by preformed rings. It requires little maintenance and can also be used with dense fluids and, within certain limits, with substances containing solids.
Multifunction
The four functions of the multifunction valve
Pressure
It stabilises dosing at the set pressure: it remains closed on the discharge side and opens only when the inlet pressure is equal to or greater than the set value. Adjustment from 1 to 5 bar.
Safety
If the pressure exceeds the set value, it discharges the product from the pump discharge through the valve drain hose, which must be routed back to the tank. Adjustment from 3 to 18 bar.
Anti-siphon
It prevents accidental injection of product caused by a vacuum in the system or when the injection point is lower than the tank.
Drain
It allows the pressure to be released from the pump discharge.
Relief
Operation of the relief valve
A diaphragm separates the fluid from the upper part of the valve; when the pressure exceeds the set value, the diaphragm, held by a spring, lifts and allows the fluid to pass, reducing the system pressure.
Pressure
It stabilises dosing: it opens only when the inlet pressure slightly exceeds the set pressure.
Opening / closing
It opens or closes according to pressure variations in the system.
Check / non-return
It prevents accidental injection of product in the event of a vacuum or when the injection point is lower than the tank.
Safety / bypass
It discharges pressure peaks when the tank or system must not exceed a given pressure value.
