Injection confirmation
When the liquid passes through it, the sensor sends a pulse to the dosing pump, which records that dosing has taken place.
Installed on the injection line of a dosing pump, it verifies that the liquid actually passes through the pump head and the line. If an injection fails, the pump automatically re-primes and recovers the missed strokes.
When the liquid passes through it, the sensor sends a pulse to the dosing pump, which records that dosing has taken place.
If the sensor does not detect the flow, for example because of an air bubble, the pump automatically re-primes (with a self-venting pump head), resumes dosing and recovers the missed strokes.
If the fault persists, the pump signals it via the alarm output.
On top of the dosing pump, to monitor every injection.
At the end of the injection line, to monitor the line as well: if it breaks at any point, the absence of liquid flow is signalled to the pump.
Depending on the chemical dosed, the sensor is made of PP or PVDF. It connects to dosing pumps equipped with a flow sensor input.
